Dr Anand Prakash, grew up in India. After finishing his medical school, he joined University of Alabama at Birmingham in a Graduate programme. He completed his Masters in Clinical Nutrition. With this strong background he went onto pursue Internal Medicine residency. He worked as hospitalist and adjunct assistant professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He served as department chair and in multiple hospital committees. He decided to continue his carrier  and joined Fellowship in nephrology at University of Alabama at Birmingham and trained under world renowned nephrologist and faculty members. He then moved to Texas in 2021. Dr Prakash started  his own nephrology practice to provide an unmatched care to his patients.
